Friends of driftwood

We are very fortunate to live near these wonderful farms.
Their tireless efforts produce the amazing food we serve every day.

“Because only slow food can teach us the things that really matter - care, beauty, concentration, discernment, sensuality, all the best that humans are capable of, but only if we take the time to think about what we're eating.”

Neighbor loaves

This program was started by the Artisan Grain Collaborative.

You purchase Neighbor Loaves from participating bakeries.

Bakers source grain from local sustainable farms and bake Neighbor Loaves which contain at least 50% locally grown stonemilled flour.

Neighbor Loaves are distributed to community feeding organizations to support your neighbors in need.

We are using stoneground Red Fife flour from Don Hixon in Renfrew, PA.
We will be delivering bread to Lawrenceville United just up the street from us.
They have been providing those in need with meals during the pandemic.
